S.P.A.R.E. pets outreach: Founded in 2009, S.P.A.R.E. pets outreach is a small New England based group dedicated to helping displaced animals in need. Relying solely upon the generosity, caring and hard work of a few wonderful volunteers we are able to place our pets in foster care where they are loved as one of the family, while receiving any necessary medical care and training. We have try take in just a small group of animals at a time to insure that each of them gets the care and attention that they need while waiting for their forever family. This also gives us the opportunity to get to know the animal on much more personal level allowing us to better assess their needs and to match them with the right family. An animal will stay with us as long as is necessary to find those right people and many do need some "work", too many animals are dumped in our shelters due to behavioral and simple health issues that can so easily be resolved with just some time and patience. We are advocates for the animals and are a mission to end breed discrimination, educate on proper pet ownership and put a stop to all of the neglect, abandonment and abuse.
